News: What’s Really Happening Between the U.S., Iran & Israel

On June 13, 2025, Israel launched a major military offensive, dubbed Operation Rising Lion, targeting multiple Iranian nuclear, missile, and defense sites—some in and around Tehran and Natanz. This marks the most overt military confrontation between Israel and Iran to date.

Iran answered with drone and missile strikes aimed at Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Beersheba. These exchanges have led to both military and civilian damage—hundreds of lives lost on both sides, including tragic attacks on hospitals. Israel combined airstrikes with covert Mossad-led drone sabotage inside Iran. This hybrid approach disabled missile defenses ahead of the larger aerial attack—an unprecedented level of stealth and coordination.

President Trump announced a two-week deadline to determine whether the U.S. will formally join the conflict. He’s considering using bunker-busting munitions against Iran’s underground Fordow facility—but still hopes for diplomacy. While under fire, Iran has refused to resume nuclear talks with the U.S.—insisting Israel must halt attacks first. European nations are racing to restart diplomatic discussions amid rising tensions.

Inside Iran, fear and chaos have ensued. Over 100,000 people have reportedly fled Tehran after air raids, facing shortages and uncertainty. In Israel, communities are sheltering as missile sirens echo and hospitals treat the wounded. With attacks reportedly hitting hospitals and residential areas in both nations, questions abound: What constitutes lawful engagement in wartime? How do we safeguard civilians? These dilemmas are at the heart of international law and humanitarian principles.

Millennial Women Are Investing Sooner — And We Love to See It

Finance: Turns out, millennial women are not waiting around to get their money right. A new study from Fidelity just revealed that women today are starting their investing journeys nearly a full decade earlier than their moms did. (Shoutout to financial growth that doesn’t involve marrying rich or waiting until your 40s.)

According to Fidelity’s 2024 Women and Investing Study, the average woman today is diving into the investment world around age 21. For baby boomers, that number was 34. So yeah — we’re clearly done playing the “money is confusing” game.

And we’re not just dipping our toes in. The study shows women are getting more confident and proactive across the board — investing in retirement accounts, buying into the market, and asking way more questions about how to build long-term wealth. Because budgeting is cute, but building assets? Iconic.

What’s behind the shift?

  • Access to info (thanks, internet).

  • More relatable money advice from creators and experts who don’t sound like your econ professor.

  • And let’s be real: the cost of existing in 2025 is giving “learn to invest or stay broke.”

Still, there’s work to do. The gender investing gap isn’t gone, and a lot of women still feel nervous about risk or like they don’t know enough to start. Spoiler: You don’t need to know everything. You just need to start somewhere. Women are showing up for their future selves — earlier, smarter, and with more confidence than ever. If you’ve been waiting for a “right time” to start investing, this is your sign. The future is female...and financially literate.

Stock To Watch

Here’s a stock that’s catching major buzz: Circle Internet Group (CRCL). They’re the brains behind the USDC stablecoin, making waves in the fintech and crypto space. Since going public, CRCL has already skyrocketed over 500%, but the excitement isn’t slowing down. With their Circle Payments Network gaining serious momentum and the stablecoin market set to blow up in the next few years, Circle is perfectly positioned to ride the wave of faster, safer digital payments. If you want to get ahead of the curve and invest in the future of money, Circle’s one to watch.
