The more it’s processed, the worse it is for you
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. –Arthur C. Clarke

Fall Home Decor: Most of y’all have Christmas on the brain, but we still have a bit of Fall season that we can take advantage of when it comes to setting a comfy, festive tone just in time for Thanksgiving.
So what are some simple changes you can make to your home to warm up your home? The Spruce has over 65 ideas that you can use for inspo, but here are some of the best ones.

Update your bedding. This is a great way to set a mood and update your favorite space in the house.
Drape a fall garland across a surface in your home. Go for autumn colors and play with textures.
Swap out dish towels for seasonal ones.
Play with textures and patterns. Think flannel blankets and velvet pillows.
You can source your decor for great prices from local stores like Hobby Lobby or shop online sales. Then buy a bin to store your Fall-related decor in so that you can put it away and pull it out each year to get the most out of it.
Health: We all have days where we’re hungry and need something fast and easy to eat. That usually means grabbing something that’s pretty processed and not all that healthy…
A recent study found that the more ultra-processed foods you eat the higher your chances are for ending up being “diagnosed with multimorbidity, or having multiple chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer.”
Yeah, not great considering a lot of a Western diet contains fast food or heat-and-eat type options that are filling but low on nutrition. For most of us, this isn’t news but what we may consider healthy could also fall into this trap and vice versa.
For example, certain vegan or vegetarian choices that fall into the heat-and-eat category may not contain meat but could be made up of highly overly processed ingredients. On the flip side, a product like yogurt is considered processed but the right kind has been found to have a bunch of health benefits.
Talk about confusing!
As consumers, we have to do our due diligence when it comes to what we eat since 71% of the standard American diet is considered ultra-processed.
A general rule of thumb is to stay away from things that have ingredients hard to pronounce, food colorings, a lot of sugar, and “enriched” flours.
Tech: Smart investors are always keeping an eye out for the next great investment, so many were excited when they heard that Elon Musk’s Starlink could be going for an IPO in 2024.
Well, not to crush anyone’s investment dreams, but if you’re looking to own stock in Starlink, you’re gonna have to wait.
Elon Musk recently shut down the rumor, however, experts think 2025 or 2026 could be the year the company goes public so we’ll just have to wait and see.
