Sooo... Elon Musk Started a Political Party?
Politics: Because apparently being a tech billionaire, rocket guy, meme king, and occasional cage-fight challenger wasn’t quite enough, Elon Musk has decided to throw his hat into America’s political ring — by launching his own party. Yep, meet the “America Party.”
According to Musk (via Twitter/X/whatever we’re calling it now), the party is “centered on common sense, unity, and anti-extremism.” He’s already teased potential candidates who could run under the new banner — some familiar names from the centrist or libertarian corners of the internet.
This move isn’t totally out of left field. Musk has been dropping hints about his political vibes for a while now — criticizing both Democrats and Republicans, making appearances on conservative podcasts, and not ruling out running for office himself (although he’s not a U.S. citizen, so… presidency = not happening).

News: The flooding in Texas right now isn’t just bad — it’s heartbreaking. For the third straight day, emergency crews have been searching through waist-high waters and destroyed homes, trying to rescue anyone still stranded. Over 60 people have already died, including children, and many more are still missing. Entire communities have been wiped out — especially in Kerr County, where damage reports read like disaster movie scripts.
After more than 12 inches of rainfall in some areas, the ground is completely saturated, rivers are overflowing, and people are being urged to evacuate even if their homes haven’t flooded yet. One local official described the scene as “absolute chaos,” and said this was “worse than anything we’ve seen before.”

Recipe: This dish is crisp and flavorful—with juicy turkey, earthy shiitakes, crunchy cashews, and a sweet-savory hoisin drizzle. It’s totally interactive, totally Instagram-worthy, and perfect for dinner or an easy party appetizer.

Podcast Rec: If you’ve ever answered “I’m fine” when you were absolutely not—Terrible, Thanks for Asking is the podcast that gets it. Hosted by Nora McInerny, it’s a raw, tender, and sometimes unexpectedly funny space where people share the truth about how they’re really doing. From grief to heartbreak to the weird, messy middle of being human, Nora holds space for it all with honesty, compassion, and just the right amount of wit. It’s the kind of listen that makes you feel seen, less alone, and gently reminded that healing doesn’t have to look perfect.

Finance: Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) The data-obsessed software company, known for its deep ties to government, defense, and big AI, has seen a huge glow-up this year, jumping over 80% thanks to some major wins. Analysts are loving the current setup: the stock’s technical chart looks strong, momentum is high, and it’s holding above key support levels with confidence.
